Meet Dr. Payne

Dr. Payne earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio Texas in 2012, after earning his Bachelor of Arts degree from Brigham Young University in 2008.  Although he came to El Paso to practice general dentistry, Dr. Payne soon noticed that he had an interest and aptitude in extracting wisdom teeth.  After pursuing additional training and coursework, as well as hands-on mentoring, Dr. Payne has provided wisdom tooth and sedation services since 2013 in multiple practices in and around the El Paso area.

As a young man, Dr. Payne spent two and a half years in Latin America.  He appreciates the international spirit of El Paso and prides himself on serving his patients in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.  Dr. Payne loves El Paso and resides there with his lovely wife and their five children.

Why doesn't my regular dentist perform my surgery?

Every dentist in Texas is licensed to perform all types of dentistry.  Most dentists choose to limit their practices to certain phases of dentistry.  Your dentist has chosen to refer patients to another dentist for the surgical care that they require.
